What are the responsibilities and job description for the Support Staff position at The Salvation Army USA Central Territory?
Position Summary: The Support Staff aids in all summer camp programs, activities, operations and staff as directed.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Participate and assist with all camp programming
- Assist the facilities department with maintenance, grounds and housekeeping duties as needed
- Assist with kitchen and dining hall duties including serving, dish washing, sweeping, mopping, etc.
- Participate in camp programing, trainings and staff devotions
- Assist counselors with campers and bedtime responsibilities
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 15 years of age
Education/Experience:
- Previous experience working with children a plus
- Previous experience supervising camper desired
- Willingness to work as part of the ministry team with other staff members
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:
Computer Skills:
- Basic computer skills required
Certificates and Licenses:
- Complete Safe From Harm training, and keep current as needed
