FUNCTION: To feed and care for animals on weekends, holidays and staff vacations as requested.
Responsibilities
DUTIES
- Feed and care animals on weekends and holidays as well as staff vacation days as requested.
- Communicate with Facilities Manager of any issues or emergencies as it relates to animals.
- Performs work in accordance with sound safety practices
- Perform routine safety inspections.
- Represent The Salvation Army in a manner that brings glory to God.
- Assist in every way requested to carry out the spiritual and total mission of The Southwest Ohio & Northeast
- All other duties assigned.
- MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- 18 years of age or older
- Desire to work a hands-on job with a variety of animals
- Ability to do physical labor, lifting occasionally up to 50 pounds
