Key Responsibilities
- Oversee resident activities during assigned shifts, ensuring compliance with facility regulations and the safety of all individuals.
- Act as a liaison between clients and counselors, effectively communicating important information regarding resident needs and behaviors.
- Conduct routine facility checks upon arrival to ensure operational readiness and security.
- Enforce house rules, document incidents, and monitor disciplinary actions as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records and logs concerning resident accountability and facility occupancy.
- Collect and manage urine samples for drug and alcohol testing as required.
- Assist in the orientation of new residents, explaining facility rules and providing essential supplies.
- Participate in emergency response actions, performing life-saving procedures when necessary.
- Proficiency in general office procedures and basic recordkeeping.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact and motivate clients.
- Ability to work independently while adhering to established policies and procedures.
- Observational skills to detect behavioral issues and ensure resident safety.
- High school diploma or G.E.D. is required.
- A minimum of one year of experience in security or social services is preferred.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Valid state driver’s license and First Aid certification are necessary.
