Location: Tallahassee Corps, Tallahassee, FL Position Type:  Full Time Pay Range: About this opportunity: Plans, develops, maintains and supports activities to build and enhance The Salvation Army image and ministries within the community. Develops and maintains a marketing plan. Coordinates resources and personnel for fundraising special events and activities. Assists the Corps Officer in cultivating and developing fruitful relationships with corporations, churches, civic groups, and other public entities.  Recruits, trains, coordinates, and directs volunteers.   Key responsibilities:   Develops and cultivates relationships with the public Cultivates relationships to procure gifts-in-kind support Represents The Salvation Army at public information fairs Coordinates Mission Partner Tours Maintains established program marketing avenues What we are looking for in you:   EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or a related Business field Three years progressively responsible experience in public relations developing and coordinating special events and media relations Valid State Driver’s License-- Ability to maintain driving ability according to State, and Salvation Army policies, procedures and remain certified on Salvation Army vehicle insurance.   Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: Ability to meet attendance requirements. Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language. Ability to speak before large groups in person, by radio and television Ability to lead, motivate and evaluate the work efforts of volunteers Ability to promote awareness and support for the Volunteer Program Ability to travel to various locations to participate in public meetings, conferences, etc   To learn more about the name of program or location, click here!
