The Salvation Army, an internationally recognized non-profit, faith-based organization, has a job opening for E-Bay Clerk.   Job Summary Assists with maintaining, monitoring and updating Center’s E-Bay website; selects and lists sale items on a regular basis; coordinates with Director of Finance to record and process all E-Bay sales according to The Salvation Army’s accounting procedures; maintains regular contact with E-Bay Coordinator and ensures compliance with requirements; and corresponds with bidders and buyers as needed.   Assists with maintaining, monitoring and updating the Center’s E-Bay website.   Assists with selecting merchandise for internet sales from the warehouses on a regular basis.   Assists with and corresponds with bidders and buyers, as well as Salvation Army and E-Bay officials, as needed.   Prepares purchases for shipping within two days of receipt of funds as directed by E-bay Coordinator.   Packages sold items for shipment and take to shipper for delivery to customer.    Orders and maintains all necessary shipping and office supplies required.   Ensures continued compliance with all standards established by The Salvation Army and E-Bay regarding Center’s presence as a non-profit charitable organization on E-Bay.   Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Knowledge and experience with marketing principles and practices. Knowledge of computers and the internet. Ability to communicate clearly and effective both orally and in writing. Ability to successfully work with diverse individuals and organizations. Ability to present a positive and professional image of the ARC. Ability to identify valuable items.   Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.   Licenses and Certifications Valid State Driver’s License   Physical Requirements and Working Conditions Ability to meet attendance requirements. Ability to read, write, and effectively communicate in the English language.
