About this opportunity:
Supervises and participates in performing the day-to-day activities necessary for the smooth operation of the emergency homeless shelter, “The Center of Hope” which includes a temporary emergency housing program, transitional housing program, feeding/dining room, and Food Box programs, emergency services; implements, and evaluates program operations and services; supervises all program staff and ensures work is in compliance with established policies and procedures as well as local, state, and federal regulations; prepares and monitors program expenditures in compliance with program budget.

What we are looking for in you:
High School Diploma or GED (Required)
Two years’ experience working in a social service office environment or a similar resident or recovery program
Any equivalent combination of training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills or abilities
Valid Drivers License
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
Ability to meet attendance requirements.
Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language.
Ability to perform mathematical calculations.
Ability to maintain emotional stability and awareness of the social issues which cause the problems of homelessness and drug/alcohol addiction.
Work requires driving a vehicle with exposure to the outdoors and physical discomforts associated with changes in weather such as rain, cold, snow, and heat, or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like.
Work is performed in a normal residential facility environment where there are little or no physical discomforts associated with changes in weather or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like.
