Summer Day Camp Counselor - Charlotte, NC

The Salvation Army, an internationally recognized non-profit, faith based organization, has a job openings for a Summer Day Camp Counselors for the Charlotte Area Command, Boys & Girls Club in Mecklenburg and Union County (Charlotte, NC)    Job Summary Under the direct supervision of the Unit Director, consistent with the Christian mission of The Salvation Army and the mission of the Boys & Girls Clubs of America. The incumbent shall be responsible for creating a safe and enjoyable environment for a given group of children in the Day Camp Program.  The incumbent shall also be responsible for presenting a positive image of The Salvation Army and its programs to the community and other agencies within the area at all times.   Knowledge and Skills Have the ability to write and speak the English language. Keyboarding and typing skills ability.  Ability to work well with children Have good telephone communication ability.  Ability to organize work priorities.
