What are the responsibilities and job description for the Donation Driver position at The Salvation Army USA Western Territory?
OVERVIEW:
The role of the Donation Driver is to pick up donations from our various retail stores and deliver them back to The Salvation Army Clovis Corps. To unload, weigh, stock, put away donated items, and report stats daily to appropriate programs and agencies.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Drive to designated retail stores
- Pick up donations
- Deliver donated items
- Process donated items
- Report stats to appropriate programs and agencies
- Oversee Food Pantry items
- Maintain company vehicles
- Brake down and stack all cardboard
- Greet and direct office visitors
- Coordinate with store receivers and managers to schedule donation pickups
- Other related duties as required
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- CA driver's license (required)
- Experience with Data entry
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Team player
- Great communication skills
- Ability to multi-task
EQUIPMENT USED:
- Modern Office Equipment and Relevant Software
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
