BASIC PURPOSE
Janitor position to wash / clean, mop, vacuum, wipe down and dust as explained by Corps Officers to keep corps building, building surrounding, parking lot and parking lot surroundings clean. Must have basic English communication ability. Basic Computer skills, word, excel, outlook, etc. etc.
The Custodial / Repair position will perform basic repair functions in our shelter rooms, clean rooms as needed, wash change linen as required, perform light repair work in and around the Garden St shelter facility.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Cleaning of rooms when clients move out
- Make necessary repairs in rooms if possible
- Wash, change and replace old linen as needed
- Shampoo Carpets when room becomes vacant
