As our enthusiastic and hardworking ASSISTANT STORE MANAGER, you will be responsible for (but not limited to):

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Takes an active role and partners with management team in the day-to-day operation of the store.
- Assumes responsibility for all day to day store operations in the absence of other management.
- Assists with coaching, training and development to the Store Employees.
- Ensures Customer/Donor needs are met by maintaining good Customer/Donor/Community relations; complaints are resolved; and service is quick and efficient.
- In absence of Store Manager, coordinates daily morning and shift change team meetings. Supervises employees in performance of duties to ensure compliance with published directives and guidelines.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Available to work flexible hours during open store hours, within a 10am-6pm, 7-day week time frame.
- Able to communicate effectively with management, store employees, customers, and donors.
- Previous retail experience and supervisory experience required.
- Must be able to operate or quickly learn to operate a POS/Cash Register
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must hold a valid Driver’s license.
- Must pass a background check.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis.
- Ability to grasp, push, pull objects such as merchandise carts, and furniture dollies.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
