What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cadc II position at The Salvation Army?
Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor Cadc II required.
1 year teaching or presenting materials pertaining to Rehabilitation from addiction.
Ability to effectively supervise interns.
A good understanding of the 12 steps
Have good boundaries
Current on ethical standards
Ability to make critical decisions and work with minimal supervision.
Knowledge of Microsoft office programs, MS, Word, Excel, and access with ability to learn additional software as appropriate.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
Age 21 or above.
Ability to track multiple tasks, efficiently, completing each in a professional and timely fashion.
Professional judgment and integrity in holding in confidential information, pertaining to beneficiaries, families, and coworkers.
Commitment to support and apply the philosophy and goals of the Salvationarmy adult rehabilitation center program and the ARC mission statement.
Active Christian worldview.
No evidence of existing chemical dependency.
