STATUS : FT / 40hrs / week

QUALIFICATIONS :
- Bachelor’s degree in a Human services or related discipline
- Experience my substitute for education on a 2 : 1 ratio
- Minimum four years of related employment experience required
- Demonstrate a positive attitude, with ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds and circumstances
- Able to maintain a non-judgement attitude, professional approach and boundaries with clients
- Able to handle crisis / emergency services for the homeless and to utilize crisis intervention, crowd management and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to assess at risk participants and situations
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Successful background clearance
- Experience working with homeless and / or at-risk veterans preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Ability to communicate and work effectively with a diverse group of residents, staff and community partners
- Must have a valid Driver License, clean driving record, and own registered and insured vehicle
- Veteran status preferred.
