About this opportunity
This Divisional Resource Development Director position will lead, train and mentor a team of professionals to raise funds to enable the mission of The Salvation Army in Alabama, Louisiana and Mississippi.
Key responsibilities :
- The candidate will develop and nurture current and prospective donors, including individuals, foundations, government agencies, and corporations in an assigned geographic region of the Division.
- Respond to inquiries and communicate with donors, advisory organization members, Salvation Army employees and leaders.
- The position has direct oversight for a team of professionals and will be responsible for training, mentoring and accountability of its members.
- There is required day and overnight travel within the three-state region and the ideal candidate will reside in Jackson, MS.
