Through the collection and resale of gently used goods we are able to provide the financial support to assist men and women with a variety of social and spiritual afflictions. The in-residence rehabilitation program focuses on basic necessities with every man or woman being provided a clean and healthy living environment, good food, work therapy, leisure time activities, group and individual counseling, and spiritual direction. All our effort is focused on developing life skills and a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ. The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Dispatcher to coordinate routes and use the triangle system to keep record of location and production of all vehicles.
Duties
The Dispatcher will coordinate all pick-up routes
Assist with proper routing of pick-up orders, tracking and filing of all pick-up tickets
Re-routing trucks as directed and assist on phones as needed.
The Dispatcher will be responsible to report any vehicle issues (breakdown, accident, flat tire, etc.) immediately
Maintain completed call records and reports for determining trends and productivity and send to supervisor daily.
Qualifications
1. High school diploma or equivalent preferred, or relevant work experience.
2. Familiar with phone system and proper operation.
3. Experience in routing and transportation procedures preferred.
4. Good communication skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.50 per hour
