About this opportunity :
Reviews contracts for compliance with applicable laws and regulations; prepares contracts for submission to Divisional Finance Board; acts as liaison between contracting parties; reviews and processes Development Department Grant Agreements and foundation requests; provides assistance to Corps in completing new program proposals and funding applications; ensures social services contract inventory is maintained accurately; ensures social services directory is maintained; administers Christmas Aid To Inmates’ Families program; supervision of Energy Concern Program.
Key responsibilities :
Reviews applications, contracts and grants for compliance with local, state and federal guidelines; monitors and prepares grants for submission to the Divisional Finance Board / Board of Trustees; serves as liaison between Corps, Division and Territorial Headquarters; assists Corps in preparing grants, new program proposals, Williams applications and provides information regarding potential funding sources; assists Corps in preparing budgets for HUD funds; acts as liaison between funding sources and The Salvation Army.
Review foundation requests and funding requests prepared by the Development Department; works with Development Department staff to revise applications as needed; obtains appropriate signature; routes request to Territorial Headquarters / Development Department / applying location, as appropriate; review Grant Agreements for Development Department; obtains necessary attachments and processes through the Territorial Legal Department for signature.
Review foundation requests and funding requests prepared by the Development Department; works with Development Department staff to revise applications as needed; obtains appropriate signature; routes request to Territorial Headquarters / Development Department / applying location, as appropriate; review Grant Agreements for Development Department; obtains necessary attachments and processes through the Territorial Legal Department for signature.
Ensures Territorial Social Services Directory is maintained; ensures divisional contract inventory is maintained; provides information to Corps concerning social issues and concerns; investigates and provides information to Corps relative to licensure, standards for operations, etc. for programs.
Prepares general correspondence to Corps regarding the Emergency Food and Shelter Program; records and tracks Emergency Food and Shelter Program funds received by Corps and maintains files regarding same.
- What we are looking for in you :
Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration, Social Work, or a related field, and three years progressively responsible experience in contract field, or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
