About this opportunity:
This position is responsible for

Key responsibilities:
  • Monitors all baby’s behavior and activities in a constant manner ensuring their health and safety at all times.
  • Changes babies diapers and ensures babies are clean before applying a fresh diaper.
  • Changes baby’s clothes as needed to ensure their comfort and personal hygiene.
  • Washes baby’s hands and face to ensure they are clean.
  • Teaches babies basic learning skills.
  • Reads stories and sings to babies.
  • Ensures the nursery is maintained in a safe and clean manner at all times.
  • Prepares babies' food and feeds babies in accordance with diet established by the parents.
What we are looking for in you:
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. required,
and
  • six months experience caring for babies in a nursery environment,
or
  • any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
  • Ability to meet attendance requirements.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language.
  • Ability to observe children and ensure their safety.
  • Ability to lift, hold, and carry infants and toddlers on a continuous basis weighing up to 25 lbs.
  • Work is performed in a normal childcare environment where there are little or no physical discomforts associated with changes in weather or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like.
