Summary
We are looking for a Part-Time Donation Attendant to join our team at The Salvation Army Family Store. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving and processing donations while delivering outstanding customer service to our donors. We are seeking an individual who is reliable, can lift furniture, has excellent attendance, and can commit to working up to 29 hours per week. The schedule includes Sundays off, as well as another day during the week. Hours between 10 am and 6:30 pm. Please note, we operate in a drug-free environment.
Responsibilities
- Receive and sort donations from the public, ensuring items are clean and in good condition.
- Maintain an organized donation area and assist with loading and unloading items as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service to donors and shoppers, answering questions and assisting with inquiries.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient processing of donations and store operations.
Requirements
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items safely.
- Basic organizational skills to maintain a tidy donation area.
- Previous experience in retail or warehouse settings is a plus but not required.
