About this opportunity :
Assists in picking-up donations by riding in a Salvation Army truck and lifting, carrying, and / or hauling donations into the truck and unloading the same at the warehouse; assist in navigating for the Truck Driver; ensures the accountability, security, and safety of the donations when in route; assists in maintaining the vehicle in proper working order and in compliance with established standards.
Responsibilities include :
Knowledge of the assigned geographical area. Ability to perform strenuous, heavy work involving the lifting and carrying of heavy objects. Ability to perform continuous walking, stooping, standing, and some climbing. Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with co-workers.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions :
Ability to meet attendance requirements.Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language. Work requires riding in a vehicle with exposure to the outdoors where there are physical discomforts associated with changes in weather.
