OVERVIEW :
The Utility Worker cleans and maintains the food service equipment and preparation areas.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Clean and maintain food service equipment and preparation areas
- Perform general janitorial tasks
- Maintain warehouse & dining area cleanliness
- Supervise program participants and their assigned chores
- Respond to emergencies
- Ensure the kitchen is securely locked at the end of each shift
- Notify the maintenance department of any issues involving rodents and pests
- Assist with food preparation and serving
- Maintain cleanliness of walk-in refrigerator & freezers
- Other related duties as required
