We are seeking a skilled and innovative Chef to join our team at Sandbar Kitchen Cocktails and Entertainment, a new restaurant opening on the Patchogue River. The chosen candidate will be responsible for the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes according to a collaboratively designed menu for our grand opening. You will play a pivotal role in developing and executing creative menus to provide our customers with exceptional dining experience.
Responsibilities :
- Prepare, cook, and present dishes in accordance with the established menu.
- Collaborate in the creation of innovative menus.
- Ensure recipe standards and consistency are upheld to guarantee high-quality products.
- Utilize knives correctly and safely.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace.
- Follow all recipes and procedures pertaining to quality, consistency, and time standards.
- Operate and maintain kitchen equipment safely and ensure its cleanliness.
- Handle food storage and cleaning activities in compliance with sanitary procedures and standards.
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulatory procedures regarding food storage, cleaning, and preparation.
- Receive, store, and rotate food items appropriately.
