What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cafe Manager-Assistant Manager position at THE SANDBAR?
The Café Manager-Assistant Manager position works closely with the owner to maintain and improve overall operation of the cafe and enhance the guest experience. Position includes providing leadership to staff; training; exceptional coffee creation; high quality food preparation; inventory, ordering, storage, coordination and executing on site events and off site orders. This is a hands on position that requires leadership and the ability to be strategic.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a supervisory role in a restaurant or café, bar/coffee shop is ideal. Strong knowledge of coffee and barista experience, food manager certification,
Excellent leadership and communication skills. Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities. A minimum of a 2 year degree. Bachelor's degree preferred.
