Food Runner/Busser/Barback

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and with exceptional service. This position requires a passion for food, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen staff and servers.

Duties

• Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently and accurately.
• Ensure that all food orders are complete and presented beautifully before serving to guests.
• Assist in food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety and handling standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to communicate any special requests or dietary restrictions from guests.
• Utilize POS systems,for order tracking and communication with servers.
• Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to guest inquiries and needs.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant is preferred but not required.
• Strong understanding of food safety standards and practices.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to lift and carry heavy trays of food as needed.
• A positive attitude, teamwork mentality, and willingness to help others are essential for success in this role.
