 If you are a driven professional and passionate about the fine dining service, come join us as we open Theodosiaour new dining destination! North Carolina native, award-winning chef, and New York Times best-selling author Vivian Howard will introduce her latest culinary concept Memoria Day weekend. Named after Theodosia Burr - daughter of the infamous Aaron Burr, wife of South Carolina Governor Joseph Alston, and lead character in centuries-old folklore of a ship lost at sea on the Outer Banks - Thedosia's menu will tell a story of the area's salt marshes and fishing boats, of recipes passed down and flavors inspired by the island setting, all showcasing Howard's penchant for innovative Southern fare.
Candidate must possess superior customer service and multitasking skills and be extremely motivated and willing to go above and beyond to exceed guest expectations.
Server Responsibilities
Set up all evening offerings and maintain quantity and quality of products throughout the shift
Greet guests; make suggestions, present food and beverage menus
Take orders; enter all orders in POS system, serve all food and beverage accurately and within a timely manner
Monitor and observe the guest's dining experience to ensure they are satisfied and respond to all guest needs
Learn the names and personally recognize our guests and anticipate their needs
Follow all Steps of Service standards and practice each step to deliver an exceptional experience
Gain knowledge about the resort and its services, local area, events and attractions
Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all health, safety, sanitation and alcohol service guidelines
Be able to stand, squat, kneel, lift and bend frequently throughout shift
Ensure that restaurant is set up for success at shift conclusion
Must be a team player and support our culture of "People First"Â
Perform all other duties as deemed by management and bring suggestions for improvement

Qualifications
Experience:
At least 2 years of elevated serving experience required. Previous fine dining and/or knowledge of wines and spirits a plus!
Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays.Â
Grooming: All employees must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance (specific standards reviewed upon hire).
