The Santa Lucia Preserve is a private community dedicated to appreciating and respecting the area’s natural beauty, geography, history, and cultural setting. The Preserve's 20,000 acres are home to a lively community of just under 300 families and a team of talented staff. Our Gatehouse at 1 Rancho San Carlos Road is just a few minutes from Highway 1 in Carmel. A scenic private road takes you into the heart of The Preserve in just 20 minutes.
The Santa Lucia Preserve is hiring a Security Officer to provide the maximum safety and security for residents of the Preserve. Other duties include:
- Patrol roads
- Monitor traffic violators and write citations
- Handle a variety of calls for service from residents
- Write detailed reports
- Respond to emergency situations
Qualifications include:
- Prior security patrol and/or law enforcement experience preferred
- CPR/AED/First Aid certification preferred
- Experience responding to emergency service incidents
- Good writing and computer skills
- safe driving record required, company vehicle provided
- clean background check
- Weekends, holidays and night shifts on rotation with day shifts.
