What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Director 2 position at The Sapling School?
Must have childcare administrative experience and a Bachelors degree.
The candidate will contribute to maintain excellence at The Sapling School. The major responsibilities are the following, but not limited to:
- Responsible for the overall health and safety of the children, families, and staff
- Has a full understanding of OOL requirements
- Managing bi-weekly Payroll, employee hours, and overtime
- The coordinator is responsible for ensuring that the center exceeds parent expectations and TSS expectations
- Maintain working relationships and open communication with family members and assist other staff to do the same
- Prepares weekly staff schedules and reviews staff PTO
- Budgets for supplies, school activities, and field trips
- Budgets graduation ceremony and summer camp activities
- Budgets events for the school including but not limited to: holiday planning, staff events, children events, family events at the center
- Works with families to process and collect monthly tuition
- Bills and collects payments from other organizations affiliated with The Sapling School
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree required
- 2 years working in Childcare Administration or 5 years working in a childcare setting
- Must have strong number skills
- Familiar with Microsoft Excel
- A strong team player
- Management and leadership skills
- Candidate must be punctual, reliable, and have exceptional time management skills, and organization skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $60,000.00 per year
