Role Description
This is a full-time role for an Immigration Paralegal at The Sarikas Law Group, LLC. The role is located in Chicago, IL, but you may work in any of our locations (Schaumburg, Berwyn, Aurora, Joliet, Chicago South, and Chicago North.) The Immigration Paralegal will assist attorneys with preparing and filing various immigration forms and legal documents, researching immigration laws and policies, handling visa applications, and communicating with clients regarding their case status and legal options. Additionally, the role involves maintaining legal databases and ensuring all client records are accurate and up to date.
Qualifications
- Knowledge in family-based immigration (I-130, I-129F, I-589, etc.)
- Experience with Legal Document Preparation and understanding of Visas
- Familiarity with general Law practices and procedures
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Paralegal certification or relevant educational background is a plus
- Fluency in Spanish is required
Salary $60,000 - $68,000 plus 401k match, pto, dental, insurance
