The Director of Information Technology (DIT) is a senior-level position responsible for the strategic direction of IT in support of the mission and vision of the organization. In addition, the Director of Information Technology is responsible for managing the support, coordination, and future state of technology across the organization. The Director is responsible for planning, budgeting, purchasing, and supervising the implementation and maintenance of physical, virtual, and cloud computing services for the organization in compliance with all state and federal regulations.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for management and oversight of all information systems, including network installations, upgrades and maintenance of all hardware and software to ensure a safe and secure computing environment, in coordination with CADES Managed Service Provider.
- Oversight of Managed Service Provider, Weidenhammer, to ensure installation, upgrade, configuration, and operations of all network hardware and software.
- Perform routine inspections of MDF, IDFs, and technology systems, throughout the organization.
- Oversee, maintain, monitor, and troubleshooting of Microsoft Office 365; Azure Active Directory; and Windows Active Directory, as all other software and business applications in use by the organization.
- Maintenance and oversight of organizations asset lifecycle management; makes recommendation on hardware and software upgrades.
- Oversight of Information Technology Governance and Documentation (Policies, procedures, Infrastructure Diagrams, and SOPs)
- Keep the organization up to date on the latest advances in educational technology, including classroom technology, software, infrastructure, and security technologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science required; Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
- At least ten years of experience managing an IT department.
- Experience with the oversight and relationship management of Managed Services Provider (MSP) preferred.
- Understanding of network and end-point security, intrusion detection, and anti-malware platforms.
- Understanding of how data centers, networks, and other related computing technologies are designed and maintained, including disaster recovery and security methodologies.
- Ability to handle confidential information with complete discretion
- Experience with HIPAA and HITRUST Compliance Frameworks is preferred.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
