Lawn Care / Groundskeeper

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Lawn Care/Groundskeeper to maintain and enhance the appearance of Marshfield School District’s outdoor spaces. If you enjoy working outdoors and have experience in lawn maintenance, landscaping, or groundskeeping, we’d love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Mow, trim and blow leaves and debris from lawns and landscape areas using power and hand tools
• Transport, load and unload equipment to perform lawn care duties
• Operate and maintain landscaping equipment
• Ensure properties are left clean and well-maintained after each job
• Adhere to safety protocols, wearing protective gear when necessary and operating machinery safely

Requirements:

• Experience in lawn care, landscaping, or groundskeeping preferred
• Ability to operate lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other equipment
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or with a team
• Valid WI Driver’s License and the ability to drive between school buildings is required
• Must be at a minimum of 18 years of age to operate lawn equipment

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday through the growing season, which starts around mid-May through early October.
