Join our vibrant learning community as a K-6 Music Teacher, where you’ll have the chance to bring music to life across multiple elementary schools. We’re looking for a dedicated educator ready to engage students in hands-on, dynamic music experiences that spark lifelong appreciation and confidence.
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver high-quality, standards-based music instruction aligned with our district curriculum.
- Design engaging lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Foster a welcoming classroom where creativity thrives.
- Collaborate with fellow educators, families, and the community.
- Host grade-level performances to showcase student talent.
- Lead and support voluntary music ensembles.
- Care for instruments and maintain music room equipment.
Hours:
7:30 am - 3:30 pm, Monday - Friday during the school year
What You Bring:
- A Bachelor's degree and valid Wisconsin DPI General Music Certification (1515) for grades K-6.
- A love for working with elementary students—and the patience and creativity to match!
- Flexibility to travel between school sites and coordinate schedules.
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
