Afterschool and/or Flex Teacher needed (part-time)

The Schoolhouse Learning Center in South Burlington seeks a part-time Afterschool & Flex Teacher for preschool-8th grade students in our nature- and play-based program. Candidates should enjoy spending a lot of time outdoors in all weather, exploring, and teaching children about the natural world, as well as supporting a social-justice focused curriculum. This is a wonderful position for a college student, retiree, or anyone exploring an interest in teaching/education. Job Qualifications:
- Some experience working with young children is preferred; we will train the right candidate.
- High School diploma required.
- Teachers must attend 15 hours of professional development training in early childhood education each year, and obtain certification in First Aid/CPR.
