Scion is paving a path in student living and we’re seeking a Courtesy Officer to join us in executing our vision. This position will focus on patrolling the community during the evening and weekend hours for potential safety concerns and general activity and shares responsibility for the property’s appearance and enforcement of policies. The Courtesy Officer is provided a rent-free apartment in exchange for their services.

This position will focus on patrolling the community during the evening and weekend hours for potential safety concerns and general activity and shares responsibility for the property’s appearance and enforcement of policies. The Courtesy Officer is provided a rent-free apartment in exchange for their services.
Your Responsibilities
- Perform nightly patrols of the community looking for vandalism, suspicious behavior/activity, breakdowns in physical security regarding access to the community, light bulbs that are not working properly, cars that violate community policies and the like.
- Maintain a nightly log of patrols and reports. Provide documentation on specific issues to the General Manager on a bi -weekly basis, ensuring all pertinent information is gathered and mentioned.
- Report observed disturbances, incidents, maintenance concerns or unsafe conditions to the General Manager, ensuring all pertinent information is gathered and mentioned.
- Respond appropriately to resident complaints and community disturbances (including but not limited to unauthorized parties, loitering, and disruptive vehicles). Respond to all resident calls promptly, including lockouts, complaints and other various items as directed.
- Prior community patrol and safety experience is preferred.
- Professional representation of the community at all times, including maintaining a courteous demeanor.
- Clean record/background.
- Job location is based at assigned community.
- Working hours consist of evening and weekend hours.
