What are the responsibilities and job description for the HR Analyst - Data Analytics & HCM position at The Scoular Company?
The HR Analyst, Data and HCM has primary responsibility for management of our HR system, ADP Lyric, and development of HR Data Analytics. This position includes day-to-day responsibilities related to reporting, vendor management, and system support. This role demands a strong focus on analytics, high attention to detail, and an interest in HR technology. The role provides guidance to HR partners, employees, and managers on the use and capabilities of the HCM, partnering with our vendor on releases and enhancements. The role reports to the leader of Total Rewards, offering opportunity for projects, partnerships, and professional growth in other HR areas, as needed.
HR Data Analysis & Reporting
- Collect, analyze, and interpret HR data to provide insights on workforce trends, turnover, employee engagement, compensation, and diversity metrics.
- Partner with IT on data integrations and connections, building the security and functionality of an HR datalake.
- Develop and maintain HR PowerBI dashboards, reports, and visualizations to support decision-making. Provide data-driven recommendations to HR and leadership teams.
- Ensure HR data compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and industry best practices.
- Conduct regular audits to maintain data integrity and security.
- Collaborate with IT and HR stakeholders to improve data management processes.
HCM System Administration & Optimization
- Manage and maintain HR systems, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
- Assist in system upgrades, testing, and configuration to optimize performance.
- Support HR teams in using HCM tools effectively and troubleshoot system issues.
- Act as the daily vendor relationship owner, creating a collaborative environment and driving towards
Collaboration & Process Improvement
- Work cross-functionally with HR, IT, Finance, Sustainability, Legal and other departments to align HR data strategies with business objectives.
- Identify opportunities to streamline HR data processes and enhance reporting capabilities.
- Act as the HR representative in business analytics projects requiring people data, such as workforce planning, manufacturing cost analysis, and cost of business dashboards
About You:
- 2 years of Analytics experience
- Post-secondary degree
- High proficiency at Excel, with excellent computer skills
- High learning agility
- Interest in learning new software and programs
- Customer service orientation.
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks.
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to respect confidentiality of employee information.
- Ability to work independently to research and solve problems.
- Ability to build relationship within and outside of HR, to collaborate effectively as a part of a larger team.
