What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handler - Night Shift position at The Scoular Company?
We're looking for a Material Handler - Night Shift to join our team! In this role, you'll be responsible for safely loading, unloading, and handling materials at our Goodland Crush facility. You'll move, weigh, and load railcars and trucks while maintaining accurate records.
This position is a night shift role and includes an additional pay differential for overnight hours worked.
- Load and unload trucks and railcars safely.
- Follow sampling and weighing procedures.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and daily logs.
- Perform minor maintenance and assist with plant operations.
- Train team members and follow all safety and sanitation guidelines.
About You:
- High School Diploma/GED required.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical
- Ability to operate machinery and work with computer systems.
- Comfortable working in dusty and noisy environments
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, kneel, climb, and work at heights above 4 feet.
- Ability to follow all PPE
- Willingness to work 12-hour rotating shifts which include nights and weekends
