MAINTENANCE

The Seasons at Attitash is looking to hire a maintenance associate to join a small team with responsibility for a condominium/rental property of 176 units in just over 20 buildings. The property is in the heart of the White Mountains, with both the beauty and the weather-related challenges that come with such a property. This is an opportunity to mix both indoor and outdoor work where tasks vary from day to day. This position is currently for part-time with the possibility of full-time.

As a member of the team, you would report to the resort maintenance manager. Your responsibilities would include general repairs including minor plumbing, electrical and other issues such as doors, windows, gutters, and general carpentry. Additionally, there are tasks to maintain and repair the buildings on the grounds and a 43-acre property. In winter, snow removal and keeping walkways and driveways safe are priorities. And as necessary, you would also supervise the work of specialist outside contractors. Accurate record keeping of maintenance activities is also an important task, as is prompt handling of periodic emergencies.

We are looking for a person who desires a varied role in a small team, happy to acquire new skills, and who can grow with the role as the property evolves. The person will be good at prioritizing, have a creative mind for problem solving, and always put safety first.

Requirements:

• Demonstrated general repair and maintenance skills
• Ability to monitor and/or direct subcontractors
• Answering questions in a friendly and conversational manner
• Communicating effectively with other members of the staff
• Maintaining a professional attitude, even in the face of challenging issues
• Work to solve problems quickly rather than leave a guest with a bad impression

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• On call
• Weekends as needed
