Job Title:Arizona Trackman Operator
Department:Baseball Operations
Reports To: Assistant Baseball Video Operations
Status: Hourly, Non-Exempt
Dates: The Seattle Mariners are seeking a Trackman Operator for their Arizona Complex League Affiliate. Must be available to start by March 1, 2025. The expected end date is determined by the conclusion of the 2025 Minor League season.
Primary Objective: Support the Player Development department through running the Trackman system for Minor League Spring Training games, Extended Spring Training games, and the duration of the ACL season.
Essential Functions:
- Responsible for setting up rosters and tagging information in Trackman.
- Log information for the entire game – monitoring the system and making any changes throughout the game (i.e. roster changes, defensive substitutions, etc.).
- Assist in troubleshooting software issues with Trackman support, fixing any errors, and uploading the game to the Trackman site.
- Will perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma required.
- College coursework preferred.
- Prior experience with Trackman or Baseball Scorekeeper strongly preferred.
- Previous experience with an MLB or NCAA Baseball organization strongly preferred.
- Must be able to correctly identify pitch types.
