Job Title:Assistant Video Editor

Duration:Seasonal, expected to last the duration of the Major League Baseball Season, March 2025 – through October 2025.
Primary Objective: The Seattle Mariners Baseball Club is currently seeking a highly motivated individual to assist the Mariners Video Production Department in editing, motion graphics, shooting, and live production. This is an opportunity to gain experience in a fast-paced creative environment.
Essential Functions:
- Assist with producing content for multiple Mariners platforms.
- Help shoot, edit, and create content, with an emphasis on video editing.
- Edit raw footage, such as interviews, green screen footage, and b-roll for video features.
- Create animations for LED Displays.
- Edit/Update After Effects and Premiere Pro templates for video features.
- Assist with making headshots, promo screens, and presentation photos.
- Help load/manage video and graphic content.
- Assist in logging and archiving of video content.
- Fulfill internal and external video requests.
- Support department with various administrative functions.
- Will perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- One (1) year relevant work experience required.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud applications, specifically Premiere, After Effects & Photoshop.
- Basic understanding of video production equipment.
- Experience using production cameras, such as Sony Fx6 and Fx3 cameras.
