Job Title:Ballpark Tour Guide
Department:Event Sales, Sales
Reports To:Manager, Event Sales
Status:Nonexempt
Duration:Seasonal, expected to work through the MLB Season (approx. March 2025 – October 2025) with the potential to extend, dependent on business needs.
Primary Objective: We are looking for enthusiastic, outgoing, and knowledgeable Ballpark Tour Guides to lead fans of all ages in engaging, fun, and informative tours of T-Mobile Park. As a Ballpark Tour Guide, you’ll provide an insider’s perspective to fans and visitors, sharing the history, traditions, and unique features of the T-Mobile Park while supporting the organization’s objectives of creating unforgettable experiences and serving our communities.
Essential Functions:
- Safely lead guided tours of the ballpark, including key areas such as the clubhouses, premium clubs, and media spaces.
- Provide in-depth information on the history of the ballpark, team, and major milestones within the organization.
- Answer questions from visitors and share fun facts, trivia, and anecdotes about the team and the ballpark.
- Maintain a positive and energetic attitude, ensuring guests feel welcome and entertained throughout the tour.
- Coordinate with event staff to ensure smooth tour logistics, including time management and group size.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of guests during the tour, adhering to all policies.
- Promote upcoming events, merchandise, and experiences at the ballpark.
- Handle customer feedback and concerns with professionalism and empathy.
- Assist with special events or VIP tours as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required. Equivalent education and/or work experience may be considered in lieu of formal education if approved by management.
- Prior experience in customer service, hospitality, or public speaking preferred.
- Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to engage and entertain diverse audiences.
- Strong passion for baseball and knowledge of T-Mobile Park preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Comfortable walking and standing for extended periods.
- A friendly, approachable demeanor with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
