Job Title:Concrete and Building Envelop Specialist
Department:Engineering & Maintenance
Reports To: Chief Engineer
Status: Full-time, Non-Exempt
Primary Objective: Responsible for performing flat work, expansion joints repairs, and building envelop maintenance, general repairs, and replacement of facility equipment and assets, as assigned.
Essential Functions:
- Perform maintenance, general repairs, and replacement of facility equipment and assets by performing construction and concrete knowledge for repairing flat work around the facility to include the envelop of the building to include maintenance and repair of expansion joints within the facility.
- Safely operate equipment needed to complete tasks including forklifts, carts, and power tools.
- Prepare and set up concrete forms according to specifications for the type of work being completed.
- Mix, pour, and spread concrete using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Core, repair, and affix anchors into concrete for structural support.
- Finish surfaces of poured concrete to achieve desired texture and appearance.
- Inspect finished work for quality and compliance within specifications.
- Assist in maintaining and repairing all stadium seating and rail anchors.
- Assist licensed trade professionals when needed.
- Provide onsite event/game maintenance support.
- Will perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Approved accredited post-secondary vocational or technical diploma preferred.
- Experience in concrete, masonry, and construction fields as necessary.

- Ability to understand and learn facility maintenance and operations.
- Knowledge of and ability to use common tools and equipment typically used in commercial construction trade.
- Knowledge of mechanical fasteners.
- Ability to perform basic computer tasks.
- Knowledge of the operations of large multi-purpose sports facility or large public building preferred.

Physical Activities and Working Conditions Necessary to Perform Essential Functions:
- Evening, weekend, and holiday work will be required.
- Ability to lift 50lbs. and be able to remain on feet for extended amount of time.
- Ability to climb stairs, ladders and scaffolding, and work at heights above 30 feet with proper PPE.
- Will perform tasks requiring bending, stopping, kneeling, and walking significant distances.
The Mariners are committed to providing a competitive total rewards package for our valued Team Members. The Mariners carefully consider multiple factors to determine Grade Level, compensation, including a candidate’s education, training and experience. The salary range is $23.85 - $45.05 per hour. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications and experience.
