JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Coordinator, Parking
Department: Ballpark Operations
Reports To: Manager, Parking
Status: Full-Time, Nonexempt
Primary Objective: Responsible for the day-to-day execution of the organization’s Parking Facility procedures and operations ensuring exceptional experience for guests are both consistently and professionally met during baseball and non-baseball events.
Essential Functions:
- Work closely with the Manage to ensure consistency in service to all guests inside and outside the Parking Facility.
- Maintain and prepare information sharing and communication pieces to ensure event staff have access to current and accurate information, consistent among the staff.
- Build and maintain supportive relationships with event staff and stakeholders.
- Finalize schedules and deployments for all areas of the parking facility to include parking lots on First Ave, Hot corner and other spaces as event requires.
- Properly and effectively resolve escalated guest parking issues involving guest with diverse backgrounds, interests and concerns with utmost sensitivity, tack, diplomacy and global problem-solving emphasis.
- Act on Guest issues as they arise to resolve them in a timely manner; escalate any urgent issues or those involving legal liability to the Manager, Guest Experience or Director.
- Provide input on Parking policies and procedures
- Participate in the hiring and training of team members for all parking tasks, including equipment use, closing procedures, Attend and Cashier duties.
- Recommend staffing principles (ex. Shift length, locations, pricing) in coordination with Parking Manager.
- Perform administrative tasks associated with timekeeping, scheduling, data entry.
- Recommend and help implement improvements to Parking to enhance the guest experience in all areas.
- Facilitate equipment issues, returns, Park Hub monthly park hub reports.
- Coordinate with the Manager of Parking on day of event to produce maximum revenue for parking, including tracking of parking spaces, presold passes and other situations that arise during load in for the event.
- Participate in online and in person meetings for ballpark operations.
- This role will involve time outside of typical business hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
- Will perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, public relations, business administration, or related field required. Equivalent, relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of formal education if approved by management.
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a large facility in Operations, preferably in major league sports or entertainment.

- Must possess proficient computer skills including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook. Knowledge and ability to learn UKG, Workday and Smartsheet software programs.

The anticipated starting pay for this role is between $55,000-$68,000. All perks are subject to eligibility requirements and availability and may be modified or amended from time to time.
