Job Title: General Maintenance Technician
Department: Engineering & Maintenance
Reports To: Director, Facilities
Status: Nonexempt
Primary Objective: Responsible for performing preventative maintenance, general repairs, and replacement of facility equipment assets as assigned.
Essential Functions:
- Perform preventative maintenance, general repairs, and replacement of facility equipment assets by performing construction of usable items; welding; cabinetry and carpentry; lock maintenance, repair and picking; pest management; vehicle and cart maintenance and repairs; caulking; seat repair; tile repair and installation; paper dispenser replacement and repair; and fire system support
- Safely operate equipment needed to complete tasks including forklifts, carts, and power tools
- Assist with operational and maintenance activities of the retractable roof transport system
- Perform repairs and/or installation on cubicles, walls, floors, framing, ceilings, railings, partitions and doors throughout the stadium
- Install stadium event items including but not limited to banners, bunting, signage and displays. Hang and install office equipment.
- Assist in maintaining and repairing all stadium seating and cup holders
- Assist licensed trade professionals when needed
- Provide onsite event/game maintenance support
- Will perform other duties as assigned
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Approved accredited post-secondary vocational or technical diploma preferred
Competencies, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA’s):
- Ability to understand and learn facility maintenance and operations
- Knowledge of and ability to use common tools and equipment typically used in the carpentry trade
- Knowledge of mechanical fasteners
- Ability to perform basic computer tasks
- Knowledge of the operations of large multi-purpose sports facility or large public building preferred
- Shares and expresses thoughts in a clear and effective manner through verbal and written communication skills. Exhibits effective listening skills and builds positive relationships with all team members, vendors, and guests. Is diplomatic, tactful and professional in all forms of communication.

Physical Activities and Working Conditions Necessary to Perform Essential Functions:
- Evening, weekend, and holiday work will be required
- Ability to lift 50lbs. and be able to remain on feet for extended amount of time
- Ability to climb stairs, ladders and scaffolding, and work at heights above 30 feet with proper PPE
- Will perform tasks requiring bending, stopping, kneeling, and walking significant distances

The anticipated range of base compensation for this role is $28.98-$36.23
