Job Title: Intern, Corporate Partnership Operations
Department: Corporate Partnerships
Reports To: Manager, Corporate Partnership Operations & Development
Status: Seasonal, Nonexempt
Primary Objective: A member of the Corporate Partnerships Operations & Development team with a focus on supporting the partnership related operations of sales & activation team members. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, manage partnership inventory, traffic & track partnership assets, presentation & recap support, identify & create efficiencies in sales & activation workflow, document existing & onboard new operating processes, and other duties as assigned.
Essential Functions:
- Assist with activities related to the Partnerships CRM system, including deal entry, workflows, inventory, and reporting.
- Assist in the evaluation of partnership deal structure for new & existing clients. Ensure revenue, asset mix, rate card, and contractual language is commensurate with departmental standards.
- Support the development and ongoing maintenance of Corporate Partnership sales and activation materials, including but not limited to: presentations, briefings, handbooks, and case study development.
- Help traffic and track contractual assets and identify additional value that leads to client retention and new revenue opportunities.
- Monitor and support the management of sponsorship asset inventory and hospitality.
- Review business processes, document them, and propose process improvements.
- Discover areas for automation within department operations, to support the creation of operational efficiencies and to help build the basis to enhance business development and activation efforts.
- Keep the department organized and serve as a knowledge hub for key information.
- Always represent the organization in a positive and professional manner.
- Will perform other duties as assigned.
- Evening, weekend, and holiday work may be required.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Sports Management, or related field preferred or be enrolled at an accredited two or four-year college or university pursuing a degree in one of these fields
