Job Title:Security Systems Administrator
Department:Technology Solutions
Reports To:Director, Technology Infrastructure and Security
Status:Full-Time, Exempt
Primary Objective: Responsible for the development and implementation of a Cyber Security strategy and roadmap. Work with our managed service for Cyber Security to assure we take maximum advantage of those services. Work with the Technology team to provide a high level of support services to all staff and departments. Participate with the other Systems Administrators to support and develop our Infrastructure for Servers, Virtualization, Storage, and Cloud services. Manage and participate in various projects needing cyber security and infrastructure support. Share support work during the season working at baseball games and other major events as required.
Essential Functions:
- Drive the Cyber Security Strategy and Roadmap for the organization in conjunction with our cyber security managed service provider.
- Oversee the cyber security education of the organization.
- Work with the other systems administrators to drive and support our server, storage, virtualization, and cloud technologies.
- Familiarity with SEIM management and use with a focus on Sumo Logic
- Daily monitoring of cloud services such as MS Purview, CrowdStrike, DarkTrace, Abnormal ,Rapid7, M365, Okta, Cofense, Workday and Other IDPs
- Daily monitoring of on Prem services such as AD, network services, applications and server resources with a security focus.
- Develop and document our IAM (Identity and Access Management) practices.
- Have reasonable availability during off-hours to help support 24/7/365 operation of staff and teams.
- Support the greater footprint beyond the ballpark of 365-day operation of outside Team Stores, the Peoria Sports Complex, Dominican training academy, teams on the road, and other national and international staff.
- Monitor and respond to Help Desk requests for cyber security and infrastructure needs.
- Monitor and respond to all cyber security, infrastructure, server and network incidents, and health.
- Daily monitoring and management of cyber security, AD, 365 Administration, network services, and server resources.
- Operate and maintain cloud and virtual environments for storage and VMs.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as PowerShell, Python, and R
- Collaborate with the Network and Telecommunications functions to ensure we are implementing solid security practices.
- Collaborate with our applications, development, and engineering teams to assure we are implementing solids security practices.
- Utilize available tools and technology to provide high level of availability of all systems.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors to implement, repair, and maintain all projects, systems, and critical infrastructure as needed.
- Maintain documentation for all systems.
- Seek opportunities to implement new ideas or technology to further the efficiency and effectiveness of the department as a whole.
- Will perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field required. Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
- Minimum three (5) years’ work experience, one (2) in lead or high-level technical capacity.

- Software: Exchange, Microsoft Office, SQL, OneDrive, 1Password
- Networking: Cisco Switches, Routers, Wireless, Meraki, SD-WAN, Palo Alto

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
- This position requires standing for long periods at times, walking long distances, and occasionally needing to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Remaining in a stationary position, often sitting for prolonged periods.
- Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers. (Computer, keyboard, mouse and telephone, performing clerical functions)
- Accessing office and work areas.
- Must be able to access assigned locations in T-Mobile Park including navigating concrete stairwells, ramps and concourses.
- Must be able to move up to 50 lbs.
Salary : $85,000 - $100,000
