What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketplace Attendant position at The Seelbach Hilton?
Position Purpose:
Counter service of beverage and/or food to include the order-taking and delivery of any food and/or beverage items to guest rooms for in-room dining. This task is to be handled in a friendly, courteous, helpful, timely, and professional manner, resulting in a very high level of guest satisfaction.
Essential Functions:
Check stations/work zones before, during and after shift for proper set-up and cleanliness.
Greets the guests in a friendly and courteous manner and explain all details of Marketplace options for guest awareness.
Stock orders up to 30lbs. from the kitchen, confirm its accuracy, etc.
Abide by all state, federal and corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests (if applicable).
Record the details of the order from the guests, repeating the order to the guest to check for accuracy.
Inputs the order into the Point-of-Sale system to inform the kitchen of the particulars in the order being placed.
Presents the guest with correct totals due, secures payment accurately.
