Business Systems Analyst

TECHNICAL BUSINESS ANALYST | HYBRID (TORONTO)

The Select Group is seeking a talented Technical Business Analyst to join one of our top financial partners. This role involves supporting the implementation of a new ADP platform as the organization migrates all on-premises data storage to the AWS cloud. The ideal candidate will have experience in capital markets, familiarity with Broadridge systems, and the ability to act as a liaison between technical and non-technical teams.

Technical Business Analyst Requirements

• Strong SQL skills: Ability to read and interpret code and translate it into business terms.
• Experience with Broadridge systems, including ADP and Impact/ICI.
• Project delivery proficiency: Expertise in data analysis, requirements gathering, development coordination, testing, and implementation.
• Experience in data analysis and reconciliation: Ability to perform detailed analysis, mining, and reconciliation of data, particularly in Oracle.
  
  

Technical Business Analyst Responsibilities

• Gain a deep understanding of the centralized data repository.
• Ensure data quality control for regulatory data within capital markets.
• Build reports using Excel and SQL, extracting and presenting data.
• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
• Pull data from multiple sources for analysis and reporting.
• Understand data integration points with systems like Bloomberg, Calypso, etc.
