Cisco ACI Engineer ( Remote; USA)
The Cisco ACI Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) solutions. The role involves working closely with network architects, security teams, and cloud engineers to ensure a secure and scalable networking environment.
Cisco ACI Engineer Requirements :
- CCNP (Enterprise or Data Center) or higher
- 5 years of experience in network engineering, with at least 3 years focused on Cisco ACI
- Strong understanding of ACI fabric architecture, VXLAN, Spine-Leaf topology, and APIC controller management
- Experience with Layer 2 / 3 networking (BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VRFs, multicast, etc.)
- Proficiency in automation and scripting (Python, Ansible, REST API, JSON, YAML)
- Familiarity with firewalls, load balancers (F5, Citrix ADC), and security integrations within ACI
- Hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus switches (9000 series), UCS, and data center infrastructure
- Strong troubleshooting skills using Wireshark, packet captures, and ACI logs
