- The organization is a crucial division, operating in the competitive landscape of the AI arms race alongside industry giants helping to develop Data Center sites & campuses from Greenfield to maturity throughout the United States
- Dedicated to the construction project oversight & development of Data Centers and Client Campuses within the central region of the United States and have several large scale builds slated for 2025 requiring Project Management support
- Data center services team is responsible for the development, maintenance, and security of client data centers
- Responsible for building and maintaining data centers, as well as developing the next generation of client platforms
- Works 24/7 to ensure the safety of client data centers, which are designed with security in mind
- 8 years of experience of mission critical Project Management or Program Management experience
- Scheduling & Cost Management experience
- Experience supporting large scale, commercial build projects within at least one of the following utility industries: construction, energy/power/distro, or data center -(direct data center construction experience most preferred)
- Experience with electrical, mechanical, controls, security monitoring, fire safety, networking/fiber, server equipment, systems, and infrastructure.
- Proficiency in project management & tracking tools
- Experience in requirements gathering, resource organization, task prioritization, scheduling and achieving objectives within set goals
- Knowledge of safety management best practices.
- Experience managing vendor relationships and understanding of standard practices in the design and construction industry, including knowledge of fast-track design build processes and associated documents and agreements.
- Act as a virtual extension of the Owner’s Project Team, building a close relationship to understand project goals, requirements, and constraints.
- Bring best practices and innovation to improve design, construction, and operational transition efficiencies.
- Ensure project aligns with the Owner’s standards for quality, cost structure, and timely delivery.
- Support project schedule and cost control, assisting in enforcing policies and troubleshooting in the field.
- Participate in executive briefings and decision-making with the Owner’s Project Management team.
- Review and validate the Owner’s business and functional requirements throughout the project.
- Help define and track the Owner’s project requirements, including budget, program, and schedule.
- Provide feedback on design team deliverables and ensure alignment with construction requirements.
- Support permit procurement in collaboration with the Owner and General Contractor.
- Advise and issue notices on project matters, ensuring compliance with agreements.
- Continuously assess risks (safety, budget, quality, schedule) and work with the Owner to implement mitigation strategies.
