Hybrid Role : 1 day / week onsite (may require additional time onsite with later project phases)

Education / Certification
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred
- Preferred, not required, certifications :
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent networking certifications.
- Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) for AV systems.
- OSHA or other safety certifications relevant to construction sites.
Top Skills :
Minimum of 5 years of experience managing IT infrastructure projects, with at least 2 years in a commercial building setting.Proven experience and knowledge in structured cabling, networking, audio-visual systems, and rooftop antenna / DAS installations.Strong project management skills, including experience using project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera, etc.).Ability to manage multiple vendors and contractors and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.Familiarity with construction project management processes, timelines, and coordination with construction teams and vendors.Soft Skills :

Responsible for supporting a headquarters relocation for a large Natural Gas Utility as the Project Manager for all IT related components like cabling, networking, audio / visual, DAS, etc
Day to day responsibilities :
Project Planning & Coordination :Develop and manage comprehensive project plans for the IT infrastructure elements of the building construction, ensuring alignment with the overall project schedule.Work closely with construction teams, architects, electrical engineers, and external vendors to integrate IT infrastructure into the building’s design and construction phases.Define the project scope, timelines, deliverables, and resource requirements for IT-related installations (cabling, networking, AV systems, antennas).Cabling & Networking Equipment :Oversee the design, installation, and testing of all cabling systems for the building, including structured cabling (Cat5e, Cat6, fiber optics, etc.) for data, voice, and video systems.Manage the installation and configuration of networking equipment (switches, routers, servers, etc.) to ensure seamless connectivity and high-performance networking infrastructure.Ensure all network systems comply with industry standards and safety regulations.Audio-Visual Installations :Ensure the integration of AV systems with the building's IT infrastructure and support easy scalability for future needs.Coordinate with AV vendors to select and install appropriate equipment, testing all AV solutions for functionality and performance.Rooftop Microwave Antenna Installation :Manage the planning and installation of rooftop microwave antennas, ensuring they are integrated into the overall IT infrastructure and meet regulatory standards.Work closely with external vendors and contractors for the procurement, installation, and alignment of antenna systems.Coordinate with structural and safety teams to ensure proper installation and compliance with zoning, safety, and building codes.Vendor & Contractor Management :Select and manage third-party vendors and contractors for IT infrastructure tasks (cabling, AV, antenna installation).Negotiate contracts, monitor vendor performance, and ensure timely delivery and quality of work.Ensure vendors adhere to safety, quality standards, and building codes during installations.Budget & Resource Management :Develop and manage the project budget for all IT infrastructure elements, ensuring expenditures remain within the approved budget.Track progress against project milestones, ensuring all IT infrastructure installations are completed on time and within budget.Optimize resource allocation, adjusting as necessary based on project requirements.Communication & Reporting :Serve as the primary point of contact for all IT infrastructure-related matters throughout the project lifecycle.Provide regular updates to senior management and project stakeholders on progress, potential risks, and budget considerations.Maintain detailed records of all installations, configurations, and project documentation.Post-Construction Support & Handover :Oversee final testing and quality assurance for all IT infrastructure systems before project completion.Ensure smooth handover of the completed infrastructure to the operational IT team for ongoing support.Provide training and support for building operations teams on the newly installed systems.TSG is an equal opportunity employer.
