M365 ENGINEER

The Select Group is seeking an experienced M365 Engineer with a strong focus on SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive & Exchange. This is a remote role working Eastern Time Zone hours. There will be some occasional travel required. Apply today!

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience with M365 services such as Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Teams, and other M365 applications
• In-depth knowledge of Active Directory (AD), Azure AD, and other identity management services
• Experience with Migration Tools: Sharegate & BitTitan Migration Wiz
• Experience with Project Management Tools: Smartsheet
• Experience with network infrastructure, hardware, and software components
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work on multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  
  

Responsibilities

• SharePoint, OneDrive & Teams Management:
• Design, configure, and maintain SharePoint Online & Teams sites, libraries, lists, and permissions following best practices and business needs.
• Collaborate with teams to gather requirements and translate them into effective SharePoint or Teams solutions.
• Provide expert-level technical support to resolve complex SharePoint, OneDrive & Teams issues, and incidents.
• Monitor SharePoint, OneDrive & Teams performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system stability.
• Exchange Management:
• Monitor and respond to issues or service requests reported by the Service Desk
• Creating and resolving problem tickets for chronic service issues
• PowerShell scripting of discovery and support processes
• Message administration for ad hoc or security events
• Migration Strategy and Execution:
• Conduct migration projects from Data Sources & Other environments to SharePoint Online/Teams/Exchange
• Support migration plans, including content discovery, planning, implementation, and deployment
• Conduct training for both end-users and administrators
• Support migration tools for improvement to migration processes
• Being part of the Team:
• Improve on processes while increasing efficiency of the teams’ standardized procedures
• Help to create and enforce team ideals that align with company standards
• Have a proactive attitude towards all aspects of the team
• Delivers high quality standards and strives for excellence, acts in a proactive, flexible, and responsive manner to customer needs.
• Create and maintain documentation related to M365 services, policies, procedures, and system configurations.
