Responsibilities
- Assist in the recruitment process
- Onboard new employees
- Create training materials and opportunities for understanding HR policies
- Administer compensation, reimbursements and benefits
- Educate employees on HR-related topics, including leaves and compensation
- Assist in performance management tasks
- Collect human resources data and provide summaries and reports to management
- High school diploma (or GED), but bonus points for an HR or business degree!
- 1-2 years of experience in HR or admin roles—if you know your way around HR systems, even better.
- A people-first attitude, with excellent communication and organizational skills.
- A data friendly mind, with excellent Google Sheet and Microsoft Excel skills.
- Tech-savviness with all Microsoft programs, Quickbooks, Google Suite.
- A natural knack for handling sensitive info with grace and confidentiality.
- Previous experience in HR, not required but a plus!
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
