The SERO Group specializes in keeping Microsoft SQL servers healthy, reliable, and secure for important industries like healthcare and banking. Now, we’re looking for a Business Development Representative (BDR) to help us grow by building real-impact partnerships.

What you’ll do
  • Build Connections: Reach out to potential clients in banking, fintech, healthcare, and beyond, listening to their pain points and showing them how we can help.
  • Discover Relationships: Identify leads and guide them into appointments for our sales team.
  • Initiate Communication: Perform high-volume initial calling and follow-up communications to move opportunities through the sales funnel.
  • Record Progress: Manage data for new and prospective customers within our CRM (HubSpot), logging all communications and important information. 
  • Spot Opportunities: Research target accounts, qualify leads, and schedule meaningful conversations with decision-makers.
  • Be Creative: Use your deep understanding of outbound prospecting, including script development, target account management, call coaching, email writing, and social media usage in prospecting and securing appointments.
  • Create Value: Work with our teams to craft pitches and proposals that solve real problems.
  • Drive Growth: Play a key role in helping us meet and exceed our revenue goals—and get rewarded for your contributions!


What you’ll bring to the table
  • Got a degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or something similar? Great! If not, we’re still interested if you’ve got the skills and smarts to back it up.
  • You’ve spent at least 2 years as a Lead Generation or Inside Sales, and you know how to turn interest into action.
  • You’ve got a knack for understanding what makes businesses work.
  • You’re up for the challenge and thrive on keeping the momentum going with high-volume calls and appointments.
  • You know when to lean on your team and when to take the reins yourself to get the job done.
  • Change doesn’t throw you off; it’s just another chance to get creative and show what you can do.
  • Regardless of the media, you know how to get your point across clearly and persuasively.
  • Your calendar is your best friend, and you have the organizational skills to juggle tasks.
  • You understand how SEO, social media, calls, and emails all fit together.
Bonus points for
  • You’ve worked with clients in banking or healthcare.
  • You’ve sold IT services or technical solutions.
  • You’ve mastered turning “not right now” into “tell me more.”
